I've been in sales for a long time so I get stretch calls but the goals that are being given this year are beyond ridiculous. They are setting things up so they are thoroughly unattainable. Y

You mean you have actually received goals for 2025? Our group receives goals in June or July and we have to begin year-end self evaluation beginning in October. We get 5 to 6 months to meet goals we don't know about
The intent is to achieve Meets for most, but honestly the ratings don't even matter, but maybe that's not true for Sales? Even if you were able to meet the goals, would you really receive any net benefit? The goal is the reduce compensation wherever possible. Reduce expenses wherever possible.
do you sell clover, or are you in a different department? clover goals are insane for a product that might be competitive if it were 2019
The goals are meant for you to not meet them
And thus keeps the sales people coming and going
