you're right it is a glorified door greater. The DM verbatum said " I want a SM at the door no matter what" Mostly so reps don't quit from the verbal abuse from customers. but still.
Our location has had 7 different Ast mgrs this year.So the position is a glorified door greeter when we are busy thus the realization sets in how worthless the job is and thus a majority of them start taking advantage. Coming in late, and especially going home early when on an opening shift( the manipulation of time must be astronomical) Hanging out in the back,so yes it would be logical to have just one AM
It would make sense. The main reason I doubt OPs post is true is because it makes too much sense. Too smart of an idea for big red skinny jeans.
