Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Are pay and benefits worth it?

How many here think that pay and benefits here are actually worth everything we have to go through every single day?

My gripe is that pay (salary + bonus) isn’t competitive. Benefits are ok overall. I think we have a best-in-class 401k and match, I just wish there wasn’t a 2yr vesting period which I’m vested now. I view this as an issue if you find out that Humana isn’t a fit and want to leave before vesting then you’re faced with leaving money on the table; also the way Humana does layoffs you could be impacted before you’re vested anyway. Insurance is alright, but could be better. Performance merit increases lack! Honestly, if the job market was any better where I could land interviews, not be ghosted, and receive competitive offers I would have been gone. But there lies the problem and most companies know it. I like the training, certifications, and tuition reimbursement available thru Humana. Education assistance for kids is nice too, but think it’s only available to associates who have completed three years of service. Overall I think the benefits are pretty standard

I’m starting to think the same thing. No job stability, constant changes. Then more changes…. It is an impossible standard
