Saw that coming 10 years ago after talking to a tech at the CFL (remember that place?) with 20 years service. She was going to be forced on nights.
Fortunately, I maxed out my 401k from day one.

After the attrition due to retirement between now and when ever the next bargaining starts. 60yo and up are gonna have to do more work. They will retire before they do more work

Well then, you should go all in on the stock. Don't even consider that Stank has never grown revenue at any organization that he has led, that AT&T is just a commodity broker now (basically confirmed by Legg), and AT&T does not have a real R&D team to develop applications needed to increase revenue (Legg said we needed to develop Apps to make any real impact on increasing revenue). So, AT&T will chug along until there is a price war, and there will be a price war . . . there always is with a commodity product.

I'm still waiting for my VTP, Voluntary Termination Package, but it's not going to be offered anytime soon! That's really a bummer because I've been holding out for several years!
