Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

next compliance gotcha Dora/Level Up Dashboard performance ...

So it was made clear from today's town hall, the next measuring metric will be based on github commits , CI/CD deployments and most likely screen keyboard/mouse recordings (if your role doesn't involve code).

You know when they bring in McKinsey these "Efficiency practices" aren't too far behind.. So expect to have your daily activity surveilled and then get put on naughty lists that you can't see.. Look T just fire the folks you want already, all these bs. half measures are lame excuses for headcount reductions..

In the 1980's, McKinsey & Co's prediction of mobile phone users was about 1% of the actual value. Their prediction persuaded AT&T to pull out of the mobile phone market, a decision which ended up costing AT&T billions of dollars. TRUTH who would hire this company?

People seem to forget, or not be aware that the survey, the results from which that were deep sixed by Stankey last year was the McKinsey OHI (Occupational Health Index) survey.

Every day that I imagine spend eight hours at my desk and check it code is the best day of my life. Thank you, Jeremy for the inspiring song and message that you shared yesterday.

Not in ATS - what is McKinsey being brought in to do?

You know you’re in deep sh_t when they bring those leeches in. Their only purpose is to get paid a sh_t ton of money to tell execs what they want to hear - namely that the right thing to do is to get rid of as many employees as possible and make those who remain even miserable. Oh and get some of their people hired here so they can be brought back for more high priced BS consulting ‘services’.

Hopefully we won’t have to fill out another survey that we will never hear about again.

We finally got migrated to gut hub in the last couple months. Code cloud is far superior. GitHub is plagued with proxy issues / server timeouts and it’s almost unusable. Something that took 1 min in code cloud takes 15 min in our GitHub! Yeaaaa progress! Every step this company takes with sales force , GitHub, service now is a step backwards. These products blow.
