Chicago meetings

Anyone have any idea why all the managers are getting called to meetings in Chicago? Heard that they are not allowed to bring their devices to the meetings.

Bring on the cuts. I would rather be fishing and enjoying the weather for the next 6 months.

Are they saying where cuts will be made? Departments, states, union/non union?

There will be cuts on both sides before the FTR deal is finalized. Then there will be a re-org followed by additional cuts to right-size the teams. This is nothing new nor unexpected.

Relocating to Chicago. Cheap real estate. Good tax breaks. ATT is long gone.

It's all about cost cutting. Everything is on the table. staffing cuts, turning more work over to contractors, eliminating whole departments, outsourcing, etc... Hold on for a bumpy ride!

How to downsize VZ quickly. Costs are out of control! Competition is cheaper... Period. VZ no longer the premium brand hype...
