Thoughts on the tv ad? I personally don't like the face being made starting 10 seconds in when she sees a Clover. I get the point that Clover does the inventory tracking for you, but there are other ways to comment on that rather than that look of disdain. That isnt the reaction that I want implanted in my brain right before you show our Clover device. You have a negative before a positive...not a good look. I think there were better ways to introduce Clover.

This marketing team is an embarrassment. No one will touch this hot potato…..
The new brand leader, in addition to hiring several other SVPs without industry experience, hired a new SVP of Clover marketing with no background in fintech or payments while letting go of the actual Clover marketing team who knew what they were doing and were eager to show their ideas to the new regime but were instead replaced with the new regime’s friends and agencies who also have no experience in fintech or payments. Makes total sense why we’re seeing what we are seeing now. When will a grown up come in and take charge?
What can we do if these corp marketing folks are permitted to run all over the clover, carat and other truly professional marketing folks.

I think you make some good points here. I would rather the spokesperson introduce the business owner to clover - bringing them luck. Instead of basically having no part in helping the business owner other than buying a green jacket. Feels like the commercial is more about the spokesperson than the product……. I like the fact that we are advertising - but this approach is more geared toward making the spokesperson the star of the commercial and not the product / service we are selling.
The make your luck BS is almost as bad as the Batman and Robin thing.
The ad looks like clover is an inventory tracker…. Not a pos system with other features like inventory.

Put clover back in charge of clover.

The clover marketing team is fighting with the corporate marketing team.
I'm guessing the clover marketing team lost its independence and is disagreeing with the direction of the corporate marketing team.
Was that layoff related? Why complain here?
