Verizon approving union about contract extension

Here we go! Let’s hope we get an inflation adjustment and an actual profit sharing bonus! Let’s go CWA and IBEW!

4 year extension, 4.7 percent increase every year, heard this morning from union steward. Now, we vote. I'm voting NO, I want 6 years, 7 percent increase MIN

It will be just like the last... small raise and large insurance premium increases every year.
Not what one would expect being represented by a union, but even the union knows you have to take what you can get from a company with no direction

The union is as scamming the employees as much as Verizon is scamming the fed. Both organizations are corrupt. It’s funny that people still think unions are serving their best interest. What a joke

We aren’t going to strike. A lot of you don’t have any work. The company would not have to get many scabs. They will probably lock us out and then wait till the work comes back.

I hope there’s a strike so both techs and reps can be hurt financially. Neither are good for the company and both are a drain on society.

RTO TO GET RID OF UNION REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES!!!

CONTRACTORS TO REPLACE LAZY TECHS!!

I hope there is a strike. The office workers need a wake up call to reality and actually have to show up to work. ON TIME. No more bs excuses. Customers need to be served and lord knows it would be quite the culture shock for most office workers to show up and pay attention for a full day.

I don’t care what happens as long as I don’t have to do strike duty again.

Hope for a 3 year extension and the union then slowly fades away. Lotta 30 year fossils still around .

Now that America has a leader once again, I will accept nothing less than a 5 year, 7 percent every year increase. Let's do this, Mr. hans. Let's do this, Mr. Union! I 💜 both of you.

Good chance for Verizon to cut the cord from the union. All the calls have been outsourced and I’m sure there’s techs around to fill the void.
