Offshore workers (India) my previous employer used ultimately drove them out of business.

In my experience, they probably have one or two pretty strong guys with bunches of new graduates in a big team(10-20), so they can lower their cost also. My previous company was ruined by them, eventually sold us out.

Exactly! If your job was replaced by HIH you didn’t have any real skills or value. If you are scared about losing a call center job get better skills

There is literally no way HIH can replace US workers. They don't have the skills (in most cases) and IF they accept the offer, many don't onboard because they have offers from elsewhere. It isn't a stable model. Not that leadership want to face that.

Had my first experience with an HIH worker this week. Requested a simple report and they couldn’t do it, They said they didn’t know how and then blew me off.

Hyderabad Innovation Hub is the replacement for the Cigna US workforce. They also have a college program that replaces the US TecDP program. Cigna thinks that they will benefit from the cheaper labor in India but missed the difference in work ethic. So many have been offered jobs and don't show up for day 1, thats why Cigna is now doubling up on offers to ensure that someone shows up. Look at the amazing benefits given to the folks in India: free meals every day, more holidays and vacation time then the US employees get, guaranteed promotions every 18 months.

Why isn’t outsourcing of jobs stopping under Trump?? It’s almost like he’s really just doing the bidding of his billionaire owners and that was all bs in the first place.

HIH is an employee replacement program disguised as “expanding into new markets.” Anyone who doesn’t see they are reducing the US workforce with cheaper labor is fooling themselves. Just look at senior leadership replacements already in place.

According to the company website, “Eder joined The Cigna Group in September of 2020 from Hilton Worldwide Holdings, where she served as the company’s Chief Information and Digital Officer.” She was a leader in Hilton for two years. We can debate she is a good leader vs a bad leader, but can’t deny she is a leader
