By the time Ford release the new redesigned Lightning the vehicle is outdated compare to the competitors. People are not going to buy it a newly redesigned vehicle that's looks just let me the old one. This is typically what Ford have done with all vehicles for the last 30 years.

Ford Lightning built in Dearborn was a temporary version which will be balanced out.
However due to EV slump, Ford has been moving the Job1 date. Right now it looks like second half of 2028 CY
