HR Layoffs on March 20th signals the end of RTO

March 20th HR layoffs is a turning point for all employees left standing in the aftermath.
The layoff on the 20th will be vast and ugly, taking with it the moose tracks of the HR minions that have so gleefully and smugly executed the layoffs of so many before them. There are still many more employees to be axed along with HR on the 20th but this blood bath signals the end of a long and agonizing journey.

The rightsizing of HR means that future layoffs will be small and incremental. The waves will be over and the sun will peek out from behind the clouds. By the morning of March 21st we will all know where we stand, and for those that survived the two year onslaught, will be greeted with the schizophrenic welcome embrace of the old AT&T.

For better or for worse, if you’re here on the 21st without walking papers, you made it. Consider yourself deserving or lucky, but never forget those that weren’t and the never forget the monsters here that still control you.

For me, i’m going back to paying my bills during teams meetings, walking my dog during lunch, catching a tan in the backyard and fa----g out loud whenever I damn well please. For damn sure I be going on Costco runs to bag me some free samples from the white haired mamas.

Stankey won't back off of RTO until he sees other company leaders doing so, Stank isn't a trend setter but a follower and he's almost always on the wrong path

Heck why don't they wait about 6 months as with the RTO shenanigans I am certain there will be many leaving on their own terms.

This blood bath will continue, layoffs are here to stay. Maybe not quarterly, but definitely here to stay. Customer confidence and experience is eroding daily, our networks are suffering, but yet, we have clowns making decisions in Dallas that cost us 3 times more to do it than if we did it ourselves. I am not sure why Stankey is still here.... He has ruined AT&T just like his predecessor did while both are laughing daily on their way to the bank.

Layoffs may signal end of T but never end of RTO. Wishful thinking.

Not getting rid of RTO. It is becoming the industry standard along with Governmental entities. RTO is here to stay now that the C. Virus is gone.

When high staffing levels in HR are no longer required than the sheer number of expected and intended layoffs to be processed after March are in fact decidedly reduced.
It’s not rocket science.

I've been at AT&T over 15 years. I can think of one year that we didn't have layoffs.

This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve read here in a while.

And that’s saying something.
