Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Newbies and managers should RTO, leave the rest of us alone

Seems like the newbies early in their careers would benefit more from the office so they can learn the world of work and company culture. Managers and executives would also work from the office to teach them, and because they're the only ones so excited about the return to office. Everyone else could work remotely, because that makes the most sense.

I couldn't agree more with @1uzv+1jmJwSPu. This sounds like the perfect solution!

I thought the newbies were complaining that they needed mentors to tell them what to do and how to do their jobs. You'd think they'd be thrilled to RTO to get the help they need.

Newbs already claiming hardship that they can’t handle working in the office where being among others (gasp) will distract them and cause them intolerable anxiety

If you aren't having fun right now, you aren't living your life correctly.

Without Employees on site the Managers will have no one to bully and harass to validate Their positions and miserable selves.
Come on....You know how it works !

However, most managers in GM are stupid, and they are the same as the newbies.
