Ask yourself with things the way they are and with the stock as low as it is, if they would bother with a modest 6K cut. Does it seem more likely that they’d slash and burn in a desperate attempt to get the stock back up and their options back in the black? I think we all know the answer. Trust your gut.
At this point, I assume no one knows which departments or how deep. This question has been asked several times and no one seems to be able to name channels. I think they are keeping it pretty secret this time. I don’t think anyone will know who is getting hit until right before it happens or until it actually happens. I think maybe the business transformation team is making the decisions and it’s being kept more secret now than ever before
