Level Up Program

Anyone know what happened to the Level Up program? They gave title promotions to management (Sr. Manager/ AD, AD/Director, Director/Sr.Director)not sure if there was any increase in compensation that came with it.

I was under the impression it would extend into the front lines to create some movement but never heard of it again.

It became the "Level Out" program.

I believe the initiative of those title changes were based in a false pretense, with self grandiose, and virtue signaling on behalf of the brass. The "progressive push" and has infected all sectors of society like a bacteria, until recently where we are seeing a much needed pushback against their morbid world views steering clear of any common sense. The common sense crowd has prevailed and they are retreating like rats. The title change. They did this so they can suddenly say "hey look at all of our female 'engineers' please pat us on the back". Yea like a 40% increase in 1 year is very believable, sure. The facts are most women are just not into engineering, they pick other fields. It's not just women, but anyone they can think of whether they are minority, or some individual with psychological issues that think they are something they are not. Its all so they can say "look at all of our engineers, we're so diverse". FAKE!

Marketing in all departments were leveled up with no money. Absolutely a joke. Typical Verizon. People disappear just like their stupid programs.
Been here 25+ years and have seen it all. Miss leaders with integrity

The pilot programs were for tech jobs. That being said, there is supposed to be cycle starting this summer for non-tech jobs, but I doubt it will be all orgs. These programs tend to take a while to get off the ground, and of course, there is always a funding issue.

they changed everyones titles to standardize roles across the enterprise, not to increase anyone's comp.
