Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T building sales and relocations

AT&T is selling 74 buildings and leasing back space for 4 years. At the end of 4 years those building will be vacated and employees required to move elsewhere.

Seperately additional office locations and employees will be forced to relocate in order to consolidate other locations. Next wave coming shortly

Or... some of the buildings that contain network equipment will have lease extensions.

The pension fund is invested in those buildings. When they sell at a discount, AT&T gets the cash and the pension fund gets an empty worthless building.
