BPI is fractionally better for Top Performing vs exceeding vs achieving so it’s not like anyone in the top categories is getting a brinks truck rolling to their house!!
It is all BS and how good you can pucker up and fake it and pretend that what you do matters to the success of the company. It is all an act. Find out what gets your boss their bonus and focus on helping them meet and exceed that with the least amount of whining or grief. It is all a show. Budgets are predicted far in the future and what is allocated for salary and bonuses is apportioned in such a way as to minimize, whining and lawsuits with any chance. That is why you are paid slightly better than other companies to make it more painful to leave despite it being painful to stay.
In order to be laid off, you got to be approached
I got approaching and was part of a layoff a week later
meets all goals - requirements - expectations - periodically exceeds some
Yes it's the same. Like practically everyone every year.
Achieving is the same as performing.
I do not know .. I got exceeding but still not top performer
