If you were getting away with 4 day weekends then that is your manager's fault and you both should be fired.
On Fridays I bring my PS5 to the office and play call of duty on the widescreen monitor at my desk all day. Way better than my at home setup. Office Wi-Fi is pretty good too.
How are 4 day weekends over? I finish my work by Thursday and use Friday in the office as my sc--w off day. I bring in extra snacks. I’m a developer and use power automate to play my laptop like grand piano. I have my social rounds to make, my long bathroom breaks to catch up on instagram and this website. Then back to my desk for more good food. I sit by the window too so I don’t feel like a worker drone. I’m good bro.
Actually you can sandwich sick days and caregiver days for quite a few 4 day weekends….
Try some new material. Better yet, read a book or do something productive instead of posting here.
