Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

What is it like to work for three people?

My mental health is already starting to suffer. Please don't advise me to just leave, because I know that would be the best, but until this moment I still haven't received a better offer.

I'm more interested in how the rest of you manage to do the work for three people, because almost everyone here wears multiple hats.

I don't even know how I manage to do it anymore, the quality of the work is falling, but the boss doesn't seem to care, as long as the work somehow gets done. Terrible.

If you have disability insurance and this has stressed you out to the point of mental and physical exhaustion, talk to your doctor. You may be able to go on disability.

I do my 8 hours and then leave. if sh-t doesn't get done, it doesn't get done. it'll be there tomorrow.

Control what you can in your sphere of influence, including continued exploration of opportunities with companies whose culture won't break you.

You already know you cannot continue absorbing the work of others in addition to your own. So again, do the best you can with assigned tasks, and DO NOT start working extra hours to compensate for management's poor planning and execution.

The easiest way to manage is to do what you can do at a comfortable yet productive pace. When your time ends for the day just log out. It will be there tomorrow and staying late tonight likely won't make tomorrow easier go enjoy your time with your family. All any of us can do is our best.

It's a lot of fun to play one vs the others.

Middle managers are more insecure ad paranoid than pony tailed students on woke education!
