Now that AIG’s corporate spine has been removed I was curious if they’ve started pulling their DEI policies? I was always proud of theirs equality policies, but they’re low hanging fruit now and will be the first to go. But I hope not.

They are still doing DEI hires from what I hear. It’s just not on paper to not get in trouble.
I was there at the beginning of the DEI and missed out on multiple earned promotions for being a white straight male. We had our director tell us in an all hands meeting that there were too many white male managers which was funny because he was one. DEI is nothing but racism and if you support it you support racism.
DEI is dead. It was forced by politicians through forced arbitration and regulatory scrutiny. Now the political landscape has been changed, the reverse discrimination cases will be astronomical and have started already. It is dead for at least the next 10 years
Haven’t heard that word in over a year. The PR buzz has died down, as has the lip service…
If they dump DEI then RC CFO & the CFO need to be dumped not going to happen.
You only have to look at the performance of some departments that over promoted DEI box ticks (e.g risk engineering) to see the damage it has done.
So yes hopefully DEI will DIE.
Promote the best people for the job. No what who they are or where they come from!
I was in charge of hiring talent and we were forced to make offers to dei hired and turned down more talented people. That’s one of the reasons why the company is where it is now. Thankfully there is light at the end of the tunnel and dei will be canceled.
Who cares about DEI? It's bs, to be honest. If you were curious, I'm non white non DEI hire, just somebody who got in due to sheer talent.
Tell me you don’t have a clue about DEI without telling me you don’t have a clue about DEI :(
We will never get rid of DEI until total black supremacy has been achieved.
