Hundreds if not thousands of teammates working on women’s product, hundreds if not thousands of athletes and assets under sponsorship, billions of cash on the balance sheet and we basically admit we can’t win with women unless we get a co-sign from Kim K - ouch.
I was still drinking the Nike cool-aid thinking the brand is cool. Then I saw this announcement and any coolness it had is officially gone. I get the company is trying to get more market share in the women's market, but Kim K is pretty universally disliked by the women Nike is trying to win. The Kardashians as a family are being boycotted online loosing followers by the millions and Nike decides to partner with her?! This smells so desperate on so many levels.
