WOW ! The RTOers are pretty calm today. Looks like the tear ducts are drying up.
Technically RTO is a layoff if they are moving your job to the other side of the country and closing building where you currently work. They are asking people if they want to move but if you dont want to move it is a layoff. I am not sure why so many people out here seem to be on their knee's for Stanky. He has been involved in many of the deals that have generated Billions in loses but he still makes Millions a year.
OP you also have a choice - if you don’t like it, move onto the next post
" "Hey RTO folks when you become the owner of AT&T then you can make the rules"
Who exactly IS the "owner" dimwit?
RTO is a decision of the employee. Either comply or you are off the payroll. Stop complaining and get to work!
Off to Dallas with you…
It is not a layoff if you go to work. Y'all saying rto is a layoff must be management. Only explanation.
And you are one of the Stankey Aholes!
And you are entitled little baby
RTO is a decision not a Layoff.

Good to know. As a publicly traded company, I am one of the owners, as are most of the employees.
RTO is a layoff. Thanks for understanding.
Bad advice, OP. Encourage these pinheads. The more, the merrier. Many will be on a surplus list before I am. I say wind `em up and let them run their mouths. Once they're gone we can start looking at a hybrid work model again.

Nah, just another Trumpy. Still going on about DEI while medicare gets pulled from under their noses, lol. $880B in budget cuts is pretty much the entirety of it.
Better take grandpa out on his last fishing trip.
Studies shows most (100%) employers plan to go full time RTO.
If RTO is sh---y every day, there will be feedback every day.
I think the posts whining about RTO have become redundant. On the other hand, new news on the RTO front, such as new groups being notified and other company initiatives are relevant, since RTO likely induces quits.
And if the RTO requires a move, it squarely falls into layoffs, because the affected employee would be eligible for severance and layoff upon declining RTO.
RTO is a layoff
Just consider it as "value add".
We all have to deal with change. Change is good and keeps you out of being in a rut. Who knows, maybe in 15 years we will be WFH again.
RTO is a layoff. You shut up
I totally agree. RTO is a done deal.
Current studies show that over 80% of US employers STILL operate on a “hybrid” mode as most employees prefer a hybrid work arrangement, citing the benefits of flexibility and work-life balance.
Can’t stop, won’t stop. Deal with it.
RTO is a passive layoff. If you don’t realize that, you’re one of the clowns.
And you are one of the cry babies.
