JP Morgan setting trends for Charlie to follow

The CEO of JP Morgan just got done firing 1,300 employees who had the audacity to sign a petition to support hybrid work. Since Charlie is basically a mouth puppet for Jamie it probably will not be long now before our fearless leader pulls the same thing because nothing motivates employees more than toxic managers in a hostile work environment forcing accountability through some agile tool that shows you're doing 8 hours a day 5 days a week.

Give it to the end of Q2 and more than likely over 50% of the company will be based in India and the American workforce leader be laid off or quit due to the toxic managers, inter office gossips, hostile work environment, and all the coworkers who attach sensitive emotions to the written word in people's emails and apply their biased views against you holding you accountable to unrealistic standards.

You're not even responding to the same user that you think you are. The fact remains, admin buildings are a waste of money, and commuting / getting ready for work is a waste of time. If you like wasting time and money, "ok", but stop trying to make it sound smart or noble. It's dinosaur nonsense. If you're in a sales gig and go FTF with customers, go for you, here's a cookie. Your job should obviously be in office because the very nature of the work requires it. The first 11 years I was here I was in a similar role. Now I'm not, and RTO is Fing stupid dinosaur BS.

@cr I work 5 days per week and I make a bit more than you think I do.

Actually, let me clarify. I'm "here" (at home) 5 days per week. This week I'm actually working a 6th day (big project going in this weekend) but I've still put in far fewer than 40 hours this week.

@c3 We're all posting on this anonymous internet layoff board, so we obviously all make millions of dollars per year. Any wealthy person would absolutely spend their Sunday arguing on this website.
