Why We Are Doing Badly

Convinced a family member to leave AT&T a few years ago and come over to Vz since they complained about not having coverage. This person never shared with me the nightmare they went through with Vz. They took advantage of a buy one get one deal and never got the "get one". They called and called and basically told that the employee didn't advised them they needed to sign up their checking account in order to get the "get one".

Then the pandemic hit and then the prices went up. This family member left Vz because they complained that Vz never made things right and they were willing to ignore the issue because they wanted to support me. That changed once prices went up and AT&T called them back and offered the much lower rate. I found this out this weekend. And all this family member's friends and neighbors are switching as well. The one thing they advised me that even when an AT&T employee screws up, the company always corrects it. They advised that getting someone to fix it is impossible and no one listens.

Great job that those in control did around here. Can you hear me now? Now we get to see the outcome this week of how they have sunk this company.

One reason Verizon is doing so poorly and probably lost customers is due to their arrogance and basing decisions on an Excel Worksheet created by someone to show revenue accretion, based solely on the fact that management wanted this view. For instance, I was on a grandfathered $45/5GB plan and use about 1GB per month. Verizon informed me that based on my usage patterns a better pricing solution is the $85/unlimited plan. This makes no sense so I did not change my plan and Verizon increased my monthly bill $6. I assume the spreadsheet created by some genius showed a maximum monthly increase of $40 and a minimum monthly increase of $6 for every account with the $45/5GB plan. There is no doubt that customers on similar type price plans were treated the same.

Verizon executives are not reality based and only want to view positive suggestions, no matter how ludicrous. They viewed the incremental revenue only and unable to admit to themselves that customers would dare leave the greatest network created by Verizon.

As usual, incorrect thought process and I am no longer a Verizon customer. One item to mention is that I am a former employee of 28 years.

Pull your head out of the sand and look around. Now re-bury your head in the sand.

The answer to your question has to to with Hans and hubris, and a pair of flim flam Sam's, an insane story about an investment black ⚫️ ho-e that never attracts customers or yields a return.

Meanwhile the bread and butter businesses that has buttered all of our bread have been ignored? Down graded and starved of capital.

Meanwhile IT is offshore and customer service seems to be in outer space.

When you find yourself in a ho-e, stop digging
