Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Trial update

HPE & DOJ have proposed a trial date of Jun 16 & Oct 27 resp. The latter conflicts with the merger termination date of Oct 9. The judge today declined to set the trial date and has asked both parties to work together to come up with a feasible trial timeline by Feb 21. A decision about the trial date will be made on Feb 28.

I recommend taking your unlimited PTO now. Time to smell the flowers. When you are back, you will get pink slip, anyway. Better to relax and enjoy the life

Oct 2025 trial? They may as well give up on this thing - that's an eternity in tech. Cisco stands to benefit greatly from this market confusion, especially in WiFi and campus switching.
