This is absolutely unacceptable. JVB and the rest of that out-of-touch leadership team need to step down immediately. That entire organization is a disaster—its culture is toxic, and employees are nothing more than lifeless drones just going through the motions.
My nephew, a recent college graduate, was set to start in the B2B program when, out of nowhere, he got a call informing him that his salary was being changed. How is that even legal? Once a candidate accepts an offer, their compensation should be locked in—anything else is outright unethical.
And let’s talk about Chris Merchant, the so-called program director. The guy is a complete joke—an HR nightmare waiting to happen. How he hasn’t been hit with a complaint yet is beyond me. He’s got the classic little-man complex, running his team like a dictator. I believe he’s been surplus a few times, and this is yet another example of AT&T recycling problems instead of solving them, creating a toxic work environment.
It gets worse—there are claims that he once screamed at an employee and even threw something at them. And what happened? Brian Gotherman, another absolute joke, swept it under the rug. How is this tolerated? Both of them should be FIRED immediately. This kind of leadership is exactly why this company is in the state it’s in.
