Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

So let’s be clear on what’s really going on here

The company is only targeting the desired demographics for the waves, the 5 days RTO, and the layoffs.

The other demographics are structured in organizations that are not forced to move or quit, report 5 days, and are being hired.

Yes, I agree, let's be clear. Posters on this site often report RTO abuses, age and race discrimination, hostile work environment, OSHA violations, unfair layoffs, etc., going on now for a few years. Have all these reportedly illegal practices made any impact to the way T is doing business? Other than one or two individual only cases, there has been nothing in the news on T lawsuits or class action suits. Can anyone please post a reference to a court case where employees 'won' on any of the abuses posted on this site? Actually, this site is a gold mine for anyone in HR to use for PPT presentations to propose RTO, layoffs, etc. I'm not saying that what's been reported on here is either true or false, but it would seem that if nothing has resulted in changing the way T operates, then it must be legal, and the issues are personal or opinions.

Cold day in Arlington. I drew the unlucky straw today and sitting near the chunky dude with the big loud mouth. Getting ready to leave very early if this $hit keeps up. Can someone ID him on the team and tell him to STFU. They all sit together in close proximity but he bellows like an obnoxious football fan at a sports bar. What in the serious F is wrong with this guy. Data this, data that, data, data, data. I have to listen to this $hit all day all the way over here. You should open a class action lawsuit if you feel that is the case. Be sure to have data to support your cause and let the sunpoena of information determine how wide spread otherwise it becomes oh well.
