Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon responded to the 1,200+ employees petition against RTO

“Don't waste time on it,” Dimon said during a company town hall on Wednesday, Reuters reported. "I don't care how many people sign that f---ing petition.”
I’ve had it with this stuff,” Dimon said during the town hall, according to Barron’s. “I’ve been working seven days a go*damn week since COVID, and I come in, and—where is everybody else?”

"Yes he’s a good CEO but completely clueless about his employees experiences. "

So in what manner is he a good CEO? Does he run that bank all by himself or does he get his work done through others? If so does he insure their cooperation purely through fear or through leadership.

Gotta love how stubborn T employees keep circling the wagons, honestly convincing themselves they have a chance to return to telecommuting! Ain't never gonna happen.

Dimon has no sense of empathy for any JPMorgan Chase employee. He's akin to a dictator, watch your back Dimon.

"Stankey would tell T employees the same thing Dimon said to his team."

100%. These CEOs all talk to one another and share input on how they drive similar initiatives. RTO, less DEI, getting more out of younger employees, how to handle Covid policies years back, etc., etc. There's no question in my mind they're already trading emails and patting each other on the back.

Time to go collaborate on 8th floor now.

Just another boomer that technology has passed by. We have to get these guys out of the exec suites. They can't get over the fact that no one wants to buy their buggy whips anymore because someone invented the car. Pure Luddite denialism.

While I don't like RTO his point is clear and people have decision to make

Of course Dimon is frustrated. RTO is becoming a corporate standard.

How would Stankey respond if T employees sent him a petition rebelling against RTO?

Jamie Dimon made $109.5 million in the last three years alone and probably has not driven himself anywhere in the last 20 years. Yes he’s a good CEO but completely clueless about his employees experiences. He can take his office and shove it up his a$$.

He aint working that dan much. And he's more than duly compensated for his "efforts" - reportedly $39M. They are waging a war against the real working class to drastically lower the standard of worker rights and compensation so the elite class can make even more. They've used their whr* media to destroy unions over the past several decades but the American worker will still win.

The man has a point. RTO for the win!

That’s the nature of the job as an executive. Not the expectation of a lowly level 1 or 2. How out of touch can you be? He’s also damn well compensated for that time too, unlike everyone else.

I wonder what Dimon's pay multiplier is verses the average employee.
