Just in a meeting where 5 days a week was justified because Sapience data was down on Fridays. The confirmation bias is so strong. Maybe the sapience data is down on Friday because people are putting MORE time the rest of the week and Friday is the day that we take a bit more of a break.
In a meeting 6 months ago, the Your Voice survey was used to justify forcing remote workers back to the office "It's clear that people are less happy working remote". The real issue is that remote workers were/are afraid. They feel the pressures from the corporation, so of course they were less happy. They weren't less happy because they were remote, they were less happy because corporate was making them less happy.
This confirmation bias needs to stop to justify the management decisions they want to make in the org.
The Your Voice survey shows that C-level is doing a poor job, so what is being done about that?
