Curious if anyone knows how hard the Berkeley Heights office was affected with the layoffs considering Fiserv has committed to adding 2000-3000 jobs at that location to receive a tax credit.

Not true the company policy is the majority.
I heard that Berkeley Heights is ringed by super fund clean up sites, such a nice place.
The requirement was for bodies in the building; so many in a given time period. So, as they fail to reach the employees #s for BH, they're increasing the number of days per week that the employees have to be in their seats in BH.
This is not accurate. The NJ regulations covering the tax credit just require 80% of the withholding of the "created and retained jobs" be subject to NJ income tax. So for an employee who lives in NJ and works in BH, it does not matter for purposes of the tax credit whether they come to the office or not. RTO policy in BH should not be driven by the tax credit. (Layoffs are another matter, of course, and there are NY state residents working in BH - tax implications for them and for the tax credit could be different)
Who the heck would willingly move to the armpit (or cr---h) of the US for this company?? Either desperate or stupid
Hoping for a mass exodus if/when 5 days is pushed. Not that Frank gives a sh*t.
They should layoff whoever decided to buy a new office during the WFH revolution

So, as they fail to reach the employees #s for BH, they're increasing the number of days per week that the employees have to be in their seats in BH. Add to that the requirement to both swipe in and swipe out, they hope to meet that part of their agreement. (People were swiping in, and then going home or to nearest StarBucks after a few hours; BH and Coral Springs.)
There were some who took the relocation to BH, went to the office a few times and then stopped going. The door-swipe logs showed that and they were terminated - 9/30.
