All 100% true. I too wish the people that were still talking about "productivity" and such with respect to RTO would just stop it. Clearly- NO ONE CARES.

That said, what I will continue to push back against is this farce that RTO is simply returning top pre-pandemic practice.

This is a complete lie, and I will respond to it every single time pointing out this fact.

You don't get to have your own version of the truth in order to try and make your mandate sound more reasonable.

You also don't get to lie about "all companies are doing it". Another fabrication.

At T, work place policies, including RTO, is simply not up for discussion. If you can't accept the fact of 'employer rights', maybe you should consider finding another employer, your employment is "At Will", so you can leave anytime, just as any company has the right to let you go due to business needs or not following policy.

STFU responders. OP is correct, not everyone has to RTO 5x8.
T believes that they can run out the clock and hopefully push more 50+ white males out the door while at the same time providing the younger, culturally diverse, with an unfair handicap by allowing them to work virtually, RTO only 3 days, or look the other way with no reporting. Yes, this is the sh-t show we work for.

For those not complying , reckoning is coming. They are going to be reviewing data after 1st quarter to see who’s reporting 5x per week at a minimum 6 hours per day. Depending how non compliant one is, you will be placed on a PIP and if it doesn’t improve in 60 days, termination will follow. All part of the headcount reduction goal.
