Minimum hours for attendance

I can't stay in office for long hours due to my bad health.

Can someone please suggest minimum number of hours to spend in office for attendance for that day?

No, it all depends on your manager and standing of your dept. Even if your manager says you are fine to leave after 1 hr, your computer has "productivity" tracking built into the monitoring software all company devices have, what it does is capture the data so that in case of a layoff or cuts, HR pulls that up and grab the bottom performers. If dept is in good standing and likely this will never come up but you can bet you will be on the shortlist if they ever decide to cut.

why everybody is trolling to a personal who can't stay in office due to bad health?

Can't even single person know the answer?

Having been in the office for 3 years and 2 yrs have been 5 days a week. They look at more than your swiped badge, they can track where you are logging in from. Though my manager has told me go in 1/2 day and then log in from home and it will reflect I was in office.

Why not ask your manager about flexible working arrangements?
