Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Linkedin is BEST platform for job recovery

Posts are showing up of Fiserv associates looking for a new job after being forced out. My entire department stuck together on the platform and found mutually supporting jobs in about 3 firms at the same time. They left on their own volition. It can work and for all who are now on the street, maintain contacts with your inside and outside Fiserv teams.

Linkedin is a must if you are in I.T.

When I got the RIF two years ago, all three of my subsequent job offers were from Linkedin...either jobs I found by searching, or a recruiter finding my credentials on the site.

And in the past year, I have turned down a couple of lucrative opportunities where a recruiter found me. (I am happy with my current gig).
