I see the see a lot of leaders who have employees directly reporting to them that make no sense whatsoever. These directs would normally report to a lower level leader.
It’s all a matter of self preservation and a numbers game that they are playing. They want to look important by inflating the number of their directs in order to dodge leadership layoffs when staffing levels are reviewed.
I’m really surprised they get away with this from a cost savings perspective.
If they are hotel cubes, then they are fair game. Go in and toss their sh-t out. That will send the message.
We have one here. From day one he took an office and made it his own. He has his name both outside and inside plus personal stuffs all over. He went to India for weeks and no one could use the office.
Rip down the paper name plates. Unless of course they have an unassigned seat because of some bogus medical accommodation.
I know you’re talking about the Concord office! Everyone dips into those offices regardless of those little pieces of paper. I’ve even ripped them off and walked in.
