Go read the Talent Redeployment policy in the Associate Support Center. The minimum amount of severance is 4 week of pay. So even if you’ve been with Humana less than two years, you should receive a month of salary.
You would get 2 weeks severance if you’re less than a year, I think
So little over a year in member services. I’m screwed. I did get a nice vegetable chopper just last week for being 1 out of 50 over 93% in rep knowledge. :/
Nope, that would classify as age discrimination
wow 26 plus years of service! nice payout.
Maybe RiF targets associates with lots service years? making new employees safer?
You still get the deductions for your insurance as you would normally. And you get 2 weeks for every year employed, so 10 years employed is 5 months severance
You also receive your health insurance benefits through that RIF period. I know three nurses that were RIFed and/or “early retired” who had 26 plus years of service and received the max of 52 weeks of pay and insurance. Not a bad deal if you’re 63-64!
You are paid every two weeks just like a regular paycheck.
