Hi - I left with 25 years of service, and want to hear from our craft friends if CWA's benefits are worth coming back to T for. I could do 3-4 years as craft and call it a career. Curious how badly the Stink is ruining the Union benefits.

Once you get vested as a non-management employee, you will automatically receive $25K in addition to your already earned $15K death benefit from at&t paid out by MetLife.
No more vesting, if you were management, you start over.
CWA is a criminal entity, an extortion ring within ATT! It does nothing for its membership except take their dues monthly! AMEN, Brother
Last I heard was that you were not allowed to come back as craft after being in management.
Don't forget, you git the $500 retirement dinner and gift when you retire agin.
Only thing I see benefit wise is a $0 Medicare Advantage plan with a $900 in-or-out of network cap. $900 and done for Medicare Part A & B allows me to sleep well at night.
Depending on why you left, and how long you've been off payroll, bridging your past service could take up to 5 years if service bridges at all. In the meanwhile, without bridged service, you'll have low seniority.
Are you a glutton for punishment, a true masochist at heart? CWA is a criminal entity, an extortion ring within ATT! It does nothing for its membership except take their dues monthly! Move on to another company and don’t torture yourself!
If you left and were able to get the medicare/medicaid bridge insurance, make sure coming back out of retirement does not end that benefit for you.
If you could come back, 5 years to be vested.
Good Luck.
