“Can you name a single instance of systemic racism in all of the United States of America in the last 50 years in which equal opportunity was not afforded to anyone regardless of race, color, age, or gender?”
Unsurprisingly, you have no clue what systemic racism is. I bet you also think Marxism = fascism.
Trump loves the poorly educated 😂

“ If you’re offended by DEI, you might want to ask yourself why the idea of fair representation and equal opportunity for all”
Absolutely fallacious. DEI is about artificially propping up those who couldn’t meet or exceed higher standard otherwise. Demographics should never be considering in hiring, firing or promotions. Alleviate demographics inclusion for the best candidates & to identify those truly worthy of promotion.
Unfortunately my stale skills haven't been updated in years. It will be tough for me.
“If you’re offended by DEI, you might want to ask yourself why the idea of fair representation and equal opportunity for all feels like a threat.”
Can you name a single instance of systemic racism in all of the United States of America in the last 50 years in which equal opportunity was not afforded to anyone regardless of race, color, age, or gender? The only period of systemic racism in historical record has been 2020-2024. The year 2025 will usher in a new civil rights movement for everyone, as it should be: germans, Irish, europeans, chinese, asians, koreans, Italians, and everyone else that was harmed because they were lumped into a discriminated class called “Whites”
“DEI isn’t “racism for the betterment of a single race,” it’s a basic acknowledgment that when we’re talking about equality, we’re talking about making sure that people from all walks of life actually get the same shot.”
So full of $hit. DEI has always been about equity of OUTCOME. A fancy three word sentence to describe quotas. Obama threw out an entire class of Air Traffic Controllers because the graduating class was too white. They later re-wrote the curriculum and testing so that the OUTCOME was more equitable. Look bud, I’m not racist, but I absolutely despise racism in ANY form for the disgusting, vile behavior and hypocrisy that it promotes. You and others have no clue what DIVERSITY even looks like and bend it to fit each situation. Does diversity and equity look like the current lawsuit in Chicago where only black investors were allowed to take part of a major Casino project? Does diversity and equity look like every single man and woman that is a PoC automatically gets hired regardless of others because companies are tripping over themselves fighting to “look like our communities” as John said. Where does it end? When we have a black man as President? Oh wait. We did. The inconvenient truth is that there are already laws and protections to protect ALL people against systemic racism. If PoC aren’t adequately represented in a specific workforce, do the fking simple math instead of crying racism or looking at color to solve YOUR OWN distorted racist mindset and YOUR chosen “color of evil” Because in spite of what anyone may comprehend, “whites” aren’t the problem and lumping all non PoC into a large category labeled “whites” is racist as f-k and discriminating against someone else based on their non PoC will never allow us to be color blind as a society. I’m sure we will be having the same argument for ANOTHER 200 years though race bater.
Tell that to the qualified white guy who waited years to become a firefighter in California because he didn’t check any DEI boxes while others who did were on-boarded right away or the ones who had perfect scores on the air traffic controller test only to be denied. Lawsuit is ongoing right now due to discriminatory DEI vs merit hiring practice.
Ah, yes, the classic “DEI is just reverse racism” argument. It’s like clockwork at this point. Here’s the truth: DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) wasn’t ever about stripping power from any one group—let alone “50+ white men”—but about leveling the playing field for everyone who’s been left out of that field for, oh, about, I don’t know, centuries. The issue isn’t that white men have it “too good”; it’s that historically, marginalized groups have been playing with a completely different set of rules.
Let’s not kid ourselves. Yes, there are privileges and protections—more for some groups, less for others—and that’s not some "conspiracy" but an ongoing reality we have to reckon with. DEI isn’t “racism for the betterment of a single race,” it’s a basic acknowledgment that when we’re talking about equality, we’re talking about making sure that people from all walks of life actually get the same shot. Not just lip service, not just "token hires." Real equity, which means fixing those structural imbalances.
If you’re offended by DEI, you might want to ask yourself why the idea of fair representation and equal opportunity for all feels like a threat. Because, at the end of the day, if we’re striving for true equality, everyone should want a world where everyone else has the same chance to succeed, without the deck being stacked against them from the start. But, hey, keep yelling about “reverse racism” if it makes you feel better. I’m sure that’ll solve everything.

“Good luck getting consideration for older applicants regardless of color.. DEI protected against age discrimination, disabilities, and don’t forget women applicants.”
DELUSIONAL POST. If you think DEI was ever about 50+ white men you are delusional or a liar to the core. DEI is and always has been about racism and discrimination for the betterment of a single race that already has more unnecessary protections and privileges enacted than any other entity in the world. An embarrassment and disgrace for a people that supposedly strive for equality.
Literally couldn’t beat the offers away. I wish I was joking. If you’ve been around you got T alum in other places now. Had 4 offers come from them alone. So, I accepted one. Really, if you can find better - do it.
I just accepted a job offer yesterday paying me 30% more than my At&T salary and 20% more than what I asked for! It’s possible!
Time for many to start getting some current skills!

Not to be that guy, but I’m going to be. Now that DEI has been labeled discriminatory and banned, companies are abandoning the practices or facing lawsuits and criminal charges, yes, the old white guys are finally getting callbacks and interviews. Doesn’t mean they aren’t doing it on the backend behind closed doors still, but now HR can’t screen you out as corporate policy for your race and gender.
- 0 is going to create even more job opportunities now that he has his people and soon to be policies in place. Time to burnish up that resume’ and move on from the Stench.
