What do they mean for Nike? Any ideas on how this will impact us?

How about this? The cheap day to day commodity Chinese products that are accessible to most in the US market will become more expensive with the tariffs. Not every consumer affords or buys brand or designer products. This may contract the economy in a way that will be felt by all

"The tariffs will make Chinese goods expensive in US market. "
I am not agreeing with your statement but tariffs have an impact both ways usually.
Which economy gets hurt more in the short term and in the long term.

Forces of demand and supply. The tariffs will make Chinese goods expensive in US market. Not good for the economy with the rising costs of everything. Basically - this is not good news for the consumer in the short term. In the long term, can only hope for a course correction once manufacturing is established in US again

Tariffs will f-up the economy. It will mean people have less disposable income and our products may get more expensive. That will impact us.
