Historically, if there was a layoff in January, the policy says employee can receive AIP for the year prior to the year in which he or she experiences a Separation from Service. Heard conflicting information that the separated employee only receives AIP half based on personal modifier and not company performance. Not 100% sure if accurate and policy is not specific. Welcome if anyone knows what happened last year. Also for 2025 we have new "Needs Improvement" factor impacting rewards tool so that could be a new wrinkle.

On RSU in the past, heard they let March grants vest but after that not so sure. Again welcome anyone's insights after talking to employees impacted in past. Or if I am mistaken. Given how close March 1st is to Jan 30th (4 weeks), seems this would be right thing to do.

FAs per the policy (page 12) the severance is in two parts which get added together
Part one is a base amount ranges from 10-18 weeks depending on grade and notification method. With no advance notice they may add 1-2 weeks.

Second part time at PayPal
5 years = 1 week base salary
6 years = 2 weeks base salary
etc..

This is from US perspective and may not apply to other regions.
