Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

When will market pick up : badly want to leave this place

As title says, I want to leave this company. Nike gives you a platform to not work and enjoy benefits. There is no incentive to work hard. This is a place for someone who is at the end of their career. Longer I stay here, the less hire-able to the other companies.

If every door is closed, maybe it’s not the job market…maybe it’s just you.

when do you think we are going to pay back the debt of 37 trillion
we have no desire to pay it down
basically we have jumped off a cliff
what you feel right now may be the adrenaline high
the market will 'turn' when you splat
you will know, you will definitely feel it

Working at Nike blows goats. Worst job I’ve ever had.

No, please stay back. Drink the Elliot Hill kool-aid. Heard that Nike is getting rid of DEI, you know the thing that led to Nike's demise. (That's what the members of the grand old boys' club at Nike think).

Depends on function but grass isn't always greener.

Regarding the market, my take is not for a long time unless you're in the AI space. Most consumer brands will have 0-small growth for the next few years barring a major downturn. We are in stagflation.

Lies. Nike is the best company to work for and you know it. Just be thankful that you have a job, don't need to do anything, AND get paid for it.
