Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Do you really think a new CEO will make a difference?

It's time to face facts. This place is beyond saving. Instead of hoping for a miracle, every employee should be working on an exit strategy. That’s the only smart move when it comes to Fiserv and the future. I don’t want to sound pessimistic, but let’s be realistic here, folks.

The whole 9 hours a day mandate is a really BIG mistake. If you leave the building for any reason, the clock stops. Next thing you know there will be badge swipe boxes on the bathroom doors. Treating professionals who already work nights and weekends like this is insane. You only do this if you want to push people out, saving have to do layoffs and packages. EVERYONE is pi---d off and you can tell the parachutes are out, people are dragging their feet, takes forever to get one thing done. WOW Great way to boost Morale, get the whip out.
If someone has done something wrong, punish/fire them, whatever. You don't punish and entire organization like this... It'[s sick!!!!!

Everyone at this company is looking for a new job. Frank made all employees come back to the office even if they are commuting 2 hours one way! They have now mandated that you are in the office a certain number of hours per day. If you work 12 hours one day, that doesn’t matter. You still have to work 9 hours the next day. The micromanaging is unbearable. This company stands to lose some exceptional employees.

The firm is currently on a very hard downward trajectory. Most everyone is already looking for a way out. The market is... let's say "not great". Which means for a time were stuck here. Speculating on the CEO is not totally frivolous with that knowledge. It's a difference of walking barefoot on rocks or walking barefoot on glass. Knowing which to expect and set expectations to helps you prepare mentally.

Sounds like an exec that didn't get the position. The new CEO is miles ahead of FB, and he hasn't even started yet. There are actual sincere praises for his leadership. I can't say the same for FB, including his little cronies.
