Talking to a friend today and a team just hired 2 new sales people and got the email of reduction of 10k from their offer letter after just starting, thank You Jennifer, Von, bitchschnapps.
Can you imagine you left your old job for a bump in base or you turned down another only to be told a few weeks later, ummm, sorry but we reduced your salary to less than you were making and if you don’t hit above 30% of target you get no comp? Yes I know 30% is kind of low but it’s the ethical point!
No one as a manager or above got this reduction except the worker bees. Reminds me of the Mel brooks history of the world, “your majesty, the peasant’s are unhappy but I love my people…pull”, as the new hires get thrown in the air and the king shoots them.
I smell a lawsuit coming from these people as I sit back and watch Rome burn but I’m just a ex employee just watching Rome burn, hail Nero!!
