It's happening everywhere. It's happening in Georgia and I'm sure others can add about their states. This is nothing new. This will keep happening as long as we are willing to accept it and do nothing about it. But I guess we're too lazy, too scared, or too complacent to take any action that would improve things. So this will keep happening. That's the sad truth.

I worked at that place for nearly 30 years. When a certain group of people became team leads, managers and assistant managers, they did indeed go after the elderly that were making more money and anyone else that wasn't in their group. All you had to do was work at that place back in the 90's thru the 2000's when they gave merit raises and you made more money that was well deserved. Fast forward to 2020's...you are now a target. Good for you if you are among the "group".
I don't get this post. Are you referring to the way older associates are treated? Well I can say this; I am older and have been with the company for almost 13 years. I do not feel due to my age I am treated any differently than the the younger people. In fact I just promoted up to a new position making more money. l was asked to take this job by a manager who could be my grandson. In my club, mgt. appreciates people who have "good work ethics". I come to work, do not call in and I earn my money. Enough said.

At my club we had an associate who wanted the company to buy them a mobility scooter so they could do their job.

Seen a lot of people claim discrimination for this or that, or that their manager is out to get them. But usually heard them say that over and over all day 10-15mins at a time to everyone who will listen while they’re supposed to be working.
