Hi guys… your friends from Fiserv are here. Apparently Lyons was just hired as our CEO. What can you tell us about him? Decent guy? Does he believe in remote work or strictly in office? Anything really good or bad appreciated!

Just another soulless, greedy bank executive who cares only about himself
Fiserv employee here. Our outgoing CEO just mandated 5 days RTO. Doubt Lyons will reverse that anytime soon if at all.
Like most PNC execs, Lyons saw remote work as a benefit of flexibility, depending on your role. PNC understands that life is 24/7 and technology allows us some flexibility. No problem. Just don’t abuse it.
PNC didn’t “let him go”. He’s a strong executive in line to be CEO but the current CEO isn’t going anywhere for a while. Now he gets to be CEO for a firm that doesn’t compete with the bank that was very good to him, and from I hear the two companies are clients of each other.
Mike Lyons is a great executive manager, one of the better I've seen. Really enjoyed working for him, super intelligent, super motivating person and strives for excellence in what he does. Has a good vision for technology and financials. I can't believe the mandatory office policy for his direct reports based on what I have seen.
He’s from Wall Street where they worked 20 hour days 6-7 days a week so he expects you to be a worker. Super nice guy and a go getter. PNC is d-mb to let him walk.
He’s a workhorse for sure. I’m at PNC a few years now and have been around him a handful of times. Obviously intelligent and knows the biz, but he’s approachable and communicates clearly. Soft rumor that he’s a voracious reader and sleeps 4 hours a night kinda stuff. Fantastic with clients and employees alike. I don’t directly know his office/remote stance, but my guess is he’s likely to say be with current clients or out finding new ones, or be in the office. Stop being at home. That’s just a guess but an educated one.
That’s awful.
good guy. In office every day policy. Minimum 10 hours a day. That’s prob why your people picked him.
