Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

HROneStop is the company’s official HR site

Under working your destination it states office workers are only required to be in the office 3-5 days and is decided by individual organizations.

Anything else is hearsay.

Make a copy and save it. If they terminate you for not RTOing 5 days, show them their own website.

I saw an AT&T job posting that said "at least 5 days a week" for in office attendance. LMAO.

What is there about 3-5 that you don’t understand?

Your boss/org decides. they can make it more strict just not more lenient.

You need to look at your occupancy indicator in Webphone, It will say what is required from you.

The top boss said 5 days RTO. He overrules all.

It’s up to your VP for now. If he says 5 then it’s 5.

“ Is it really up to each individual business unit?

No, no it’s not.
Therefore, it’s a lie. Like everything else here.”

Why is it not?

My business unit doesn’t have its RTO requirements posted. Just word of mouth.

Guess I have to use the official company site which says 3-5 days. Can’t fire me for following your rules or you can talk to my attorney. Womp womp.

C-Suite T is looking to fire you. It is up to you to fail, which is why there is no clear wording or verbalization on exactly how many hours you need to be in the office.

required to be in the office 3-5 days and is decided by individual organizations.

Therefore if your "individual organization" decides 5 days, it's 5 days. Why is this difficult to understand? You're not going to win against this RTO stuff and as much as I miss 3 days a week, I'm going to do what they want until I find something better, just like you.

How and where we work

Management > how and where we work policy

3-5 days per week with a designated workspace or floor

Then the official rules. John’s word of mouth is irrelevant
