RTO is Stankey's preparation for retirement

RTO and reducing employee headcount is all in preparation for Stankey to retire. He needs to boost the stock price so he can retire, get his "golden parachute", and then cash out of the stock before it tanks because of the "brain drain" he caused.

I predict Stankey will retire before the end of 2025.

Get rid of unneeded workers. Put cash into buyback when it makes financial sense. Way to run a business

Getting rid of people and the stock buyback are all for one purpose - to drive up the stock price. However, we already know that Stankey's methods for the stock price increase are short term and he has no strategy for how the company is going to be successful in the long term.

It makes no sense to go for the short term gain if he isn't going to capitalize on it. If he sticks around for the downfall, he'll lose a lot of money. I can't see him doing that.

“Well, the new president is messing with the affordable care act. I gotta stay if I can’t get health insurance for my preexisting condition.”

Yep. Gonna mess with other things this crowd wants or needs (even if you don’t know better). Watch what you ask for.

Stank will do whatever Blackrock tells him to do. He’s just a puppet.

Stankey will run T to the ground and then sell it for a penny on a dollar. That is his only strenght.

Get into the office and actually work. It's good policy.

“ RTO isn't a Stankey policy. It's an industry policy.”

Incorrect. It’s the exception. Most companies are hybrid 2 or 3 days. More are remote than in person. Furthermore Verizon and T-mo are remote with some teams being hybrid.

" RTO isn't a Stankey policy. It's an industry policy."

No, it isn't.

Why do you keep saying this when it's not true?

Verizon is actively recruiting for hybrid management positions.

"RTO isn't a Stankey policy. It's an industry policy."

So, Stankey is not running the company, the industry is. Good to know. Get rid of Stankey's compensation!

The Stink isn't going anywhere until:

  1. He reaches the manditory retirement age of 65. Then he will come back as a consultant for a cool $1M a year like Ratty.
  1. He sells Toxic-T for a shiny nickel, and then he gets his mega change-of-control payout like he wants so much.

Stink is a POS!
