They had a huge announcement late last year and a big rebrand based on customer guarantees. AT&T is not the first to this, but to say Cable cos are saints and didn't have any big announcements on this is false.
What is hilarious is that the cable companies already did this, and they did not have to have a big press conference and marketing slogan to announce it.
