This much incompetence in one room should be illegal, and that’s before VA enters.. never mind him though, he’s still learning the suppy part of supply chain.. as in how much supply should I have and when do I know I have too much supply and am I spending too much money moving around said supply. And last but not least, HON.. you can spell failure without HON, but our retread, CMO would and call it being “bold”. Go figure… btw..

@b5+1jhrra7tz Can you imagine a Walmart or Costco’s Chief supply chain officer telling their ceo that “ demand and supply planning is a completely separate function that sits outside of supply chain”? He is on the freaking SLT! He’s supposed to be the one that sees the gathering storm when sh-t starts sitting in the warehouses… he runs marketplace. He literally has his fingers on the pulse of the marketplace. Fun fact, Tim Cook made his way to the CEO chair by mastering Apple’s Supply chain. If there are 2 people in a company that should know the business better than anyone else it should be your supply chain person and your accountant because numbers don’t like and they should ALWAYS know where both stand. VA is lost and is completely out of his depth. He’s invested millions in capital projects that go nowhere meanwhile half our buildings are empty the and next half is overflowing and we get billed millions monthly by all the transportation companies who happily charge us for the tons of freight we keep in their trailers. Yea.. it’s not VA fault… he’s just doing his job.. how about he does the part where is he supposed to be on the SLT.
The members of the SLT need to change. It’s that simple.

Stock will be $60 by year end. The board went and got a retro CEO after they figured out we were going out of business selling retros.. just wow.
Dangling a carrot that we might get psp while most of the poor leadership is still here is not inspiring. We’ve all continued to do our job and it’s really not within our ability to raise stock or improve sales relationships etc.
A better message would be that ELT and SLT are not taking bonuses this year and all below will get the 100%. This current failure and trying to tread to the surface is not due to the 70k employees that do their job and are unable to speak up when we see leadership failing.
Hard to get pumped that we “might” get last years cr-ppy bonus if we try hard. Clean house and design some better shoes that sell. Let’s make the comeback as short as possible please. This is taking a long time.
