Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What were the major takeaways from the big employee survey?

What was all the hype about? Just to track participation rate more than anything else?

Our dept listed lack of transparency from top leadership. So we were punished with a mandate for more meetings at the bottom levels. Makes no sense and it wastes everyone's time.

@c4 That will never happen. The business mood in the USA has completely changed post-pandemic. The ruling class is angry that workers had such decent income and work-life balance that they are trying to force us to accept lower living and working standards.

Corporations and their masters are all about the abuse because they want to wield their power over the non-wealthy. Just look at the blueprint for the next two years, project 2025.

This bank management has an addiction. It's called abuse. The addiction to abusing its customers was changed to abusing its employees. Until this bank objectively measures the psychological abuse of its workers, and puts in solutions to remedy this the trust between employees and management will suffer. Like most addicts, this bank goes to great extremes to hide it. All seems ok until the addict hits bottom. Don't know when that will be -- but it will be.

They simply use this tool to find and monitor disgruntled employees.

About the only thing I've taken away from the survey is management uses it as a gauge for engagement, then fudges the numbers to push their agenda. It's purely a PR campaign to try and convince the employees that management actually GAF.

They don't, as evidenced by the fact that every issue ever significantly raised in a VOTT survey wound up coming back at the teams that reported it as an issue they have to fix, even though they have no authority to do so.
