Anything that can be outsourced probably will.

""Will the monitoring team be one of these groups?"

"We can only hope. What do you guys do all day, anyway?"

Clearly you have never looked at all the tickets we get everyday! Just yesterday I got sniped on Call of Duty because I had to take 30 seconds to assign the ticket to one of our contractors. It was probably you that sniped me Mr. Red Light! Don't be jealous that I found a WFH job in my pajamas while you are RTO. We play (work) hard!

The more the bank can outsource the better it is for a sale. The acquiring bank can either keep the relationship with the outsourcer as is or move the responsibility to their already established in house team and save expenses. I would expect to see more and more outsourcing through the year.

"Light is green - good! I can go back to sleep!"
"Light is red - bad! Open trouble ticket for another group, then I can go back to sleep!"
