A new batch of SNL letters are going out 1/23. Layoff activity has slowed down since they expect people to start to leave on their own due to 5 days and after the team award payout on 3/6/25. That way they save money by nit having to pay a 6 month severance.

If you're truly living in fear, protect yourself. Take initiative and look for other opportunities, improve your skills, or plan to move.
Nothing in life is guaranteed, some things are beyond your control, you really have to advocate for yourself and work to control what you can.
I really feel for folks in tough situations, it's not easy, it really su-ks. But you do have options that might require work or hard choices, and you will survive. Do the things that can ease the pain now, even if it's not so easy.

Today's rumor has the letters being delayed til February now. Of course. I'd guess they as usual have realised the need to make a plan and are finding that their concept of a plan of moving everyone to the 4 cities won't necessarily work, so the usual process of delay the rollout for a little while then later delay it more and then stop talking about it and it goes away.

Grow up. You should not be in fear. Go with the flow. RTO is going great.
Unless you are in Dallas you will get a letter eventually.
